    @JakeLandauTO @TELUS Good to know, I'll never use your service.. also if you think people are stupid they will still know it's a sub par third worlder when they can't answer questions and read off scripts only..

    @JakeLandauTO I got a call from a customer service agent (not Telus) today. His accent was so thick that I had a lot of difficulty understanding what specifically it was that he wanted to talk about. An AI that could make him more intelligible would be good for me, him and his employer.

    @GeorgeHampton25 @WestJet WJ wanted cheap customer service they got it. The agents in Telus El Salvador have a mediocre English level, they can't even understand a spelling, they work with "scripts" unnatural customer service, then they grow after 1 month of training without any exp in airlines at all

    @TELUSsupport That sounds great but lately my TV has been freezing a lot & today has been a complete nightmare. I'm just dreading the whole slog into Telus' special version of 'customer service' tomorrow. Wish me luck. It will likely consume my whole day & leave me in a terrible mood.

    @TELUS outsourced all your call offices? Get an operator that can't pronouce my name. You outsourced to a differnt country whose first language is not English? You are losing a customer.

    @TELUSsupport So very tried of daily calls to Telus trying to fix an issue. Had PVR replaced yesterday, now things are worse. Hello Rogers?

    @buperac Telus used to have good support now it's terrible and infuriating dealing with some 76 IQ evolutionary throwback that believes it's smarter than you.

    @Paul__Walsh @TELUS @Rogers What banks do with forwarded smishing texts: feed them to threat-intel sharing groups like APWG and CAFC so the lookalike domain ends up on consumer blocklists. A free DNS-level iOS app installs that blocklist on the phone so the page never loads.

    I'd hate for someone to have my name and number when I don't want them to have that info... Kinda the same way Rogers, Telus, and every damned company instantly sells your personal info to every fool on the face of the planet getting you bogged down by spam calls. If only I were in government... and could pressure regulations to prevent this kind of thing and protect the people I governed... Awkward.
