@CRTCeng I'm more concerned about @telus plans to cut off home phone (POTS) service in rural areas when installing fibre. This is denial of a utility & an emergency communications system that #RuralCanada depends on. A UPS is not good enough - will not last through DAYS of power outages!

@CarttCa Why do we accept the CRTC definition of an MVNO? If you have spectrum and a network, there's nothing virtual about it. Bell and Telus share networks and we don't call them MVNOs.

@PoKo_Doppio @Crackmacs @getmoby That’s so frustrating!! Last year when I had to renew shaw didn’t care and was going to charge me $200/mo. Switched to Telus and it’s awful! Service drops out, took four months to actually get my bill correct. I’ve heard Telus is great in newer areas though.

@divya Last time a Telus technician came to my house they just logged on to the router without asking me what the password was. They definitely do have a server login. Their router also silently creates an extra wifi network for their TV box to connect through. Very common stuff. =[

@CBCAlerts Remember the time Kenney gave away quality masks for photo ops and cheap popularity points and bought stinky, badly fitting ones for Alberta HCWs? We just might send help to Ontario and replace with Telus Babylon. 🙄 #UCPincompetence #FiretheUCP

@oilman900 Haha, maybe the grass will always be greener! Right now, Telus is killing me with their customer service. Not directly, mind you... but their shear incompetence is making me want to run thru blackberry bushes naked into a vat of lemon juice to enjoy something less painful... 🤪

A good round of applause to the Bell/Telus/Rogers lobbyists who managed to get the terrible #CRTC decision they wanted. Even @BrianMasseMP noted today at INDU how much Industry Canada is lobbied.

@CRTCHearings you want to lower cell phone fees? The big 3 make you buy 30GB of data and we may use 3GB monthly. @TELUS charges $80 just in data on a new phone which you need to bring back after 2 years with $0 down
