    @DavidM_yeg @kim_siever In other words, the backbone of the networks being decoupled from the providers and run as a regulated utility. Its focus is on ensuring the network(s) themselves remain viable … not on whether Rogers, Telus or whomever make a **** ton of money.

    @sunlorrie In such widespread disruptions, can Roger's let us temporarily switch to Bell or Telus ? When I drive to the US my phone automatically gets into their system and I pay Roger's a daily flat fee. Why can't, in an emergency, let us all switch to another provider?

    @RdLessTrvled @unspinthespina1 After repeated attempts by Telus to switch to FO we declined and found out copper service isn't going anywhere. All a marketing ploy to get you to get more services. No thanks.....

    When millions of Canadians lost their internet due to an outage at Rogers, many people were affected, and yet people were also able to go to relatives' houses and connect to Bell or Telus. If the State controlled one federal wireless service, that option would be off the table.

    @LeafandThistle This was a little priceless: I went to Telus to buy a pay as you go (solo mom need contact) and they couldn’t use their payment system. Good thing I have cash from when everyone was having accounts locked down/ I was ready to pay.
