@mapleservo Look up prices and incentives from Telus and ask for the same deal or better. If they won’t match then say you’re not happy and you need to think about it for a couple days. They will often call back with a better deal. Or ask to speak to customer retention.

@shawnhawaii I count three (Bell, Rogers, Telus), but the point stands. Telecomm fees for service are built on the notion that because the country is spread thin, the urban pocket density "can't possibly make up for the infra expense to connect rural", even though money has been thrown at it.
