My phone has been dying a slow death for months. I finally got a new one. With a data plan. I've been a Telus customer for about 15 years. Telus still charged me a $50 activation fee. That's on top of my plan, which will cost about $80 a month.

@russilwvong Colonnade of trees. Foolish the Ciry cuts down trees to put up mid-block street lamps instead of shorter lamp posts, cuts trees into Y- shapes to allow Telus wires, trims one side of a line of trees to favour high tension wires on poles. No! Bury all lines!! Expand all boulevard

Our Day Thus Far -or- A Lesson in Unintended Consequences 1. Check @weathernetwork on @ShawInfo 2. Make decisions 3. Realize too late we were looking at info for wrong city (due to the new multi-location 'stupid format', like TELUS uses) 4. Collectively decide to cancel Shaw

I remember leaving Telus and them telling me I won’t have service outside of the “big cities” if I switch to Shaw… I’m in ******* rural Manitoba on a long weekend and have service with no issues.

@kirst_alyssa Telus has the worst coverage in Alberta, and the poorest customer service as well. They spent too long in their rural monopoly golden days. Pathetic.

@FuzzyWuzzyTO I don't know what they have, and yes it's paid. But Telus has a thing (they keep bugging the crap out of me) where it's $10 for 5 months. Not sure if they have baseball or not, though.
