@turr1959 @Terry_Hussey @TELUS @BellAliant basically said they are status quo. Nothing changes. Even tried to help me pay my bill via credit card since I am was on the phone. How nice! :)

  • bcb490 Bev Bursey (@bcb490) reported from Massey Drive, Newfoundland and Labrador

@yvonneparsley I would be calling Telus on him and my neighbors to cancel their service. His aggressiveness is totally unwarranted anywhere. I know he has a job to do and a living to make but not need to harass you

@answerallman @pgoodfellow "Dix said the issue was not with Telus, ...." Yes, it is, though not only with Telus.

  • mistryman007 david mistry (@mistryman007) reported

@CP24 Rogers bought source cable in Hamilton also trying to bully Cogeco into selling. Bell owns Virgin high speed and just started a rural DSL service in Telus is like bell but for western Canada

  • jonathanwhudson (Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported

@hitthepost @TELUS That's their starting place to seeing that issue starts from the wires leading your house and that it's not internal setup.

  • pentastich Jim Mayer (@pentastich) reported

@DouglasBaer Note: I tried looking up a Verizon plan to prove compare with. We used Verizon when we lived in the USA. Verizon and Telus both have big networks and are basically evil. Also, Verizon's plan comparator was down, so they clearly have a LOT in common with Telus.

  • jonathanwhudson (Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported

@hitthepost @TELUS We had issue in condo with ADSL when we got dual line version as one was shorting out randomly and dropping connection (visible via tv signal skipping). Took the right tech level to fix it. The simplest techs wanted to swap box inside when I kept telling them it was external.

  • jonathanwhudson (Jon)ny Foozball (@jonathanwhudson) reported

@hitthepost @TELUS I have that current install and no connections issues in weather. So if that's it they should fix it. They are able to see up time of connection from their admin software. It's also something a tech person can see from your router side as well.

@alextrauzzi @jakkuh_t @Ubiquiti Telus has symmetrical straight in house full fiber, no coaxial at any point that does 2500mbps up and down at the same time, no data cap, I pay $135/month after some discounts

  • MountPleasantBC Mount Pleasant BIA (@MountPleasantBC) reported

@coxey3492 @sarahkirby_yung @MikeKlassen As would we...there is many conflicting issues...dumpsters are the responsibility of the hauling company ( and they ignore it ), utility boxes of those folks, Coast Mountain on some poles, Telus on others, public property, private property, etc...and the ever present liability.

  • Steve_R_Austin Steve.R.Austin (@Steve_R_Austin) reported

@CTVNews Seems Freedom Moble is at issue as the 4th carrier in Canada. Lol Koodo and Public Mobile are owned by Telus. Fido, Chatr and Rogers wireless is owned by Rogers. Bell owns Bell mobility, Virgin mobile, Lucky mobile and Bell MTS. 711 Speakout is Ztar on Rogers as 3rd party.
