@JanisIrwin Then there's healthcare. Where to even start? Are we going to have to pay Telus to see a doctor? Is there a recruitment plan? Is there a plan to rehab people after we've burnt them down? Is there a plan to get delayed care back on track?

@AlbertKamps I'm on bell. Nothing bad to say. Uses the same towers as Telus in rural areas but along #2 there is probably bell towers. I changed companies because of poor customer service

@ShawInfo @Shawhelp I hate telus But your internet might send me back to them. I get disconnected multiple times a week or even day. Yes I called customer service and turning on and off the router/restarting gateway can help. But surely I shouldn't have to do this every week?

@TELUS spent 4 hrs on-hold and whenever someone picked up the phone I got a ‘I need to transfer you’ and finally I got disconnected. Worst customer service. Do I need to contact @cbcnewsbc Public for your customer service team to fix the billing issue caused on your end?

@33dBm I’ll have to look into MOCN, but I know Rogers has started sharing agreements to roam on the Telus/Bell network in BC to fill some network holes. It’s apparently a hard hand-off (call gets dropped) when they switch on/off the roam.

@shawnhawaii I count three (Bell, Rogers, Telus), but the point stands. Telecomm fees for service are built on the notion that because the country is spread thin, the urban pocket density "can't possibly make up for the infra expense to connect rural", even though money has been thrown at it.

Well it’s not quite the miracle of miracles but despite the water damage completely turning it off the modem turned itself back on again half an hour ago and is actually fully functioning! (But definitely still “hosed” (ZING!) ergo probably dead soon anyway so Telus is replacing)

@Bell really needs to do a huge overhaul on their customer service. Can’t wait until my contract is over so I can go back to @TELUS
