    @esteetabernac Nope the Bell/Telus/Rogers monopoly will carry on. I wonder how many people couldn’t call 911 yesterday for an emergency?

  • WomanInTheMirr4 Woman In The Mirror (@WomanInTheMirr4) reported

    @peggy_blair Telus thanks Rogers. All those customers who were ready to cancel will now be convinced to keep ( and pay for) this antiquated technology. We still have ours. Hmm. Might be time to see if our Walkie Talkies still work.

    @PaulMitchell_AB I had no trouble .... but then, I'm with #Telus

  • ekiledjian Edward Kiledjian (@ekiledjian) reported

    @iamkennethchan This is the second significant Rogers outage in 14 months. TELUS hasn’t experienced a similar outage in over a decade.

  • StrongNFreeAB Kyle Moore (@StrongNFreeAB) reported

    @jongibson3 @adobopoutine @FidoSolutions Telus never went down

    To all my Canadian followers. Rogers and Bell have terrible customer service and not a great service at all which they are showing right now, @TELUS has been working throughout this entire lockout and they have an amazing team

  • TheRealElaschuk Steve Elaschuk (@TheRealElaschuk) reported

    @Limbictweets Telus recently removed the old copper wires that my original, self powered landline ran through and put it through the fiber line that my internet works on. If Telus goes down now so does my landline. landlines aren’t safe anymore either as the old systems are decommissioned.

    @lockedo10171327 @SpiggyMoon Well, it's not Bell, Rogers or Telus, is it? I also had absolutely no issues yesterday. Phone and internet worked fine.

    @losinghopein Ooof thats a tough one for me lol. Out here it's Telus we are thanking right now but they have their own issues just not so drastic as total system failure.

    @alexposadzki I’m switching to TELUS. They’re offering a special promo saying they’re the reliable network “Our network won’t leave you hanging”. $10 credit on monthly unlimited data for 2 years, plus a one time $50 credit. Pretty good deal
