    @peternowak If your ear isn't trained to a specific accent it can be difficult to understand what the agent is saying. It's frustrating for the caller and the agent. If Telus is using AI in this instance they've had plenty of complaints. It's using the technology to improve service.

    @MelissaLMRogers Telus did this, a couple of decades ago, and it almost broke the company. No quality service, no qualified repairs, no experienced executives.

    @JakeLandauTO I got a call from a customer service agent (not Telus) today. His accent was so thick that I had a lot of difficulty understanding what specifically it was that he wanted to talk about. An AI that could make him more intelligible would be good for me, him and his employer.

    So get this, Telus is using masking technology (AI) to hide the fact their Call Centre employees have accents coming from places such as India - so they are deceiving customers that they employee Canadians and are not - they are deceiving their entire customer base.

    Frustrated about Telus customer service. After they acquired ADT they don’t know how to restore a portal password. 7 hours on the phone with 9 different agents over the last 30 days No one knows how to do it. @TELUS @TELUSsupport @TELUSBusiness

    @Kapur_AK in Calgary we have Rogers or Telus. we used to have Shaw. we have NO competition now. the costs keep going up. the service is disgusting. before the Libs did this i had Shaw internet/TV & my cell with Rogers. Both were excellent then. now it's a horror story. Champagne.

    @GG37374104 Wow really !? I still have my landline with Telus and have never had them ask me to give it up. People wonder why I keep it but I find it way better sound quality than any cell phone I’ve ever had.

    @TELUSsupport So very tried of daily calls to Telus trying to fix an issue. Had PVR replaced yesterday, now things are worse. Hello Rogers?

    @cdntradegrljenn I'm on a $50/mo unlimited plan with Rogers that includes no roaming charges. Absolutely NONE! Longtime Telus customer and they couldn't give me free roaming. Rogers is the devil but Telus got to $17/day for roaming.

    Why won’t @TELUS step up to buy the club? They have the money and would be celebrated as community heroes for decades to come. International profile. Customer base explosion. They can write off losses in the down years. #VWFC #SaveTheCaps
