After waiting over an hour for @Shawhelp to call me back (they quoted 35 minutes - as 225th in the queue), I am going to bed and will turn off the ringer. I have ducks to kill on the am and can order my new @TELUS service tomorrow. Shaw TV can’t solve the buffering.

  • MHClark2617 Mary-Helen Clark (@MHClark2617) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

After an hour on hold with @telus, I’m getting my fourth technician visit since October, now to fix my basement TV. The guy who “fixed” my internet somehow made the service slower and more intermittent. I’m just glad my phones are on infinite data.

  • miketheref Mike Malowany (@miketheref) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@IMPACTWRESTLING Is it up. Ordered it through my TV provider and have a blank screen. Having issues @TELUSsupport @TELUS

  • allantaylor allantaylor (@allantaylor) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Mandoline79 @TELUS I’ve had some staggeringly confusing troubleshooting issues with them. It’s like they know they’re the only game in town for some services and they don’t even try to keep you happy.

  • CoolGuy54682288 Cool Guy (@CoolGuy54682288) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

  • Stephane774 Yamamoto97 (@Stephane774) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@McFeenixx It’s 200 bucks but Telus lets you pay for it in 4 separate instalments of 50 bucks. Well worth the money , you literally get every game and I’ve never had any issues with the connection or lagging.

  • Nitramwerdna Andrew Martin (@Nitramwerdna) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

Thank you @Telus for screwing up the listings on tv and making me miss the @FCBayern game. Never had this problem with Shaw.

  • jnorum Joanne Norum (@jnorum) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS I’ve had the worst customer service from your company in the last 8 weeks trying to set up my home internet and I’m not alone. 6 failed installation appointments and 4 hours on the phone, mostly on hold. I’m now sticking with @ShawInfo

  • CoolGuy54682288 Cool Guy (@CoolGuy54682288) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS The most advanced phone on the most out-of-date company. No esim support!

  • yegventures Lincoln Ho | Yegventures 🇨🇦🇭🇰🇻🇦 (@yegventures) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@Mandoline79 @TELUS When I worked there, I started out as an Assure agent (tech support). The kind half hour wait I had today was unacceptable, let alone having to spent 2 hours on the phone. They kept contracting jobs overseas as well.

  • JasonWiwadBP Jason Wiwad (@JasonWiwadBP) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@ShawInfo might be the worst run company from top to bottom. Online, Retail stores to Support. Who actually uses this company cut my service off before I ever had any went to @TELUS and Blamo wow finally some culture in a business experience

  • keatsmom Celeste (@keatsmom) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@CappyD I have it, through Telus. I've just started it, and so far not bad. I like that I can watch certain movies that stent on Netflix, but f I dont find value in it, I will drop it after a month.

  • LiamLeroux42 Liam Leroux (@LiamLeroux42) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

This is true, I don't love my landlord or Telus but they get all my support every month. All the artists get from me is a raspberry & a middle finger. 🙃

  • KrauseArik Arik Krause (@KrauseArik) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

of hand, the money he gave me for his line, isn't coming in anymore, therefore it's all on me. I'm not even a @TELUS mobility customer, but their loyalty department has called me three times this week. Attempting to get me as a customer with amazing deals.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • rohan10 rohan (@rohan10) reported

@tron Things not rolling over to Bell/Telus when there's a BGP outage is a pretty obvious technical outcome, and Rogers cannot control it anymore than AWS could have controlled access to their DCs when their Auth systems were down. But, where was disaster planning?

  • scott_robb Scott Robb (@scott_robb) reported

@brainbah1 @Kirsten_Hume @TELUS Why does anyone have anything from Telus, they are the worst in over charging (followed by Bell)!

  • tron Douglas Tr0n Soltys (@tron) reported

Likely why the message to Rogers employees today was: "we let Canadians down for 15 hours, we need to figure out how to help each other" (referring to govt + Bell/Telus).

  • NateLikesAMC NateTrades (@NateLikesAMC) reported

@MobileSyrup Switching back to Telus after my contract ends this summer. I have only had issues being with Rogers. I don't know what possessed me to switch providers. Oh well lesson learned.

  • CZenti cynthia zenti (@CZenti) reported

Hey @TELUS - remind me again why a current customer with 2 cell phones who needs a home line (single mom with a child who has developmental disabilities and is non verbal) needs a credit check before installing a $20 month home land line in case of emergencies?

  • junkjun82187832 junkjunk (@junkjun82187832) reported

@BullishBearz good. buy the dip. Telus had an outage like this a few months ago and things will recover.

  • Catelli2Oh Catelli 2.0 🚣🚴🏕 (@Catelli2Oh) reported

I was talking to a Telus mobility user today, and she said that her mobile data slowed down to almost unusable speeds during the Rogers outage. And it only went back to normal again yesterday.

  • inlifesafety1 in.life.safety (@inlifesafety1) reported

Hey @TELUS why do you offer service to rural places, charge out the ***, then don’t provide service to rural areas? When we give you our address, shouldn’t you say “we do t service your home!” **** you. Sincerely **** you.

  • tron Douglas Tr0n Soltys (@tron) reported

First, on why 911 calls didn't go to other networks with Rogers down. It's due to the nature of the failure: - if the radio network isn't available, Rogers customers fall back to Bell/Telus on local roaming - Rogers network was still up but nothing could connect, so no fallback

  • CatDadEh CatDadEh (@CatDadEh) reported

The amount of "Rogers can't do this, I'm going to Bell/Telus" I'm seeing makes me laugh. Do you really think there's a difference? The big 3 are only an illusion of choice, since all their **** is at the EXACT SAME PRICE POINT!!!
