@Randellaman @DavoZed @AmieVarley So you'd prefer to be ripped off by an American company instead? I don't mind paying $65 a month for an unlimited data plan with Telus. I think it's fantastic tbh. There's many other problems worth discussing in Canada.

  • Marilyn2222222 Marilyn Michael (@Marilyn2222222) reported

    Telus Sim card not working

  • Tyler__Noble Tyler Noble (@Tyler__Noble) reported

@kathi_leafs No that extra $60 on the bill is for financing the phone through your cell provider. Rogers, Bell, Telus etc. calls and texts are standard with all our plans now but what really gets you is the Data usage. Also, if you go over your data, they slow down your speed to 3G levels

  • phkcheung Kenneth Cheung (@phkcheung) reported

@TELUSsupport Can I please get a contact number for a local department in Canada that knows the procedure of how to correct a mistake in the account information made by the Telus sales team? I have been passed around different departments in Philippines with no issue being resolved.

  • mrubenst Mark Rubenstein (@mrubenst) reported

@bramabramson I am skeptical that (i) is practical, at least as a remedy to the Friday outage situation. No way that either the Rogers or Telus/Bell network has capacity to handle the traffic from all of each others customers.

  • jugheadisme Jug (@jugheadisme) reported

@kenmoorealberta @AmieVarley Canada is caught up in a bind with Rogers and Bell and Telus.. lack of competition and consolidation of single carriers is hurting the service and the cost for subscribers in Canada.. it’s high time this was opened up.

  • GavinoGav Gavin Doidge (@GavinoGav) reported

@Deborahpaleczn1 @CP24 Virgin is owned by Bell. Bells service didn’t go down, it was slower than normal due to an influx of customers relying on their service for their everyday activities. As a Telus customer (they run off bell in Ontario), while it was annoying it still worked for some things.

  • JustAnotherJay Jason Bouwmeester (@JustAnotherJay) reported

@MarkEDaye @FP_Champagne No problem, but as you can see, not very helpful if one of the three goes down, I'd assume if Telus went down Bell would be affected as well in some capacity and vice versa.

  • daraddishman Marcus Riedner (@daraddishman) reported

@TELUS you really need to fix your robot phone tree. It gets stuck in a loop asking for your existing account when you try to become a new customer.

@dcprime @dramos7_7 @AmieVarley Really? Did you forget about Verizon trying to enter Canada a few years back to provide affordable services and being blocked by Rogers/Bell/Telus causing all kinds of stink with the CRTC to the point where Verizon backed out and said they will never try to come to Canada again?
