@patrickbetdavid to clarify on your video about Rogers. Rogers doesn’t control 90% it’s 3 companies Rogers, Bell (BCE), & Telus combined they have 90% of the market. Definitely a monopoly, we have a “Governing Organization” but run by telecom executives, so how does that help?

@maureenholloway Apparently the WEF was behind the Rogers outage and some are certain Canada is the testing ground for world **********. But aside from that I think some folks couldn’t check their Twitter feeds, Bell stayed quiet and Telus visibly doubled down on its advertising budget.

@TrevorHickey81 @merry123459 I don’t recall any multi-hour compete Canada-wide outages lately on Bell or Telus. Rogers has had at least 3 in recent years. Maybe just bad luck, or the vendors they use that are different from Bell and Telus, or network architecture - I really don’t know.

@merry123459 I'm using Shaw and had no problems at all - although my email and internet were certainly a lot faster. I use Rogers only for my cell, which is turned off. Telus is my landline - which maybe I should hold onto for a while longer.

@LyndonGeorge1 This is the reason I have kept my Telus land line except that they force-converted it to fibre this year and now will lose it via same outages as all other companies. Even if system isn't down. with a power outage, battery only lasts 4 hours before no phone.
