Todger Strunk (@WaxEBuildup) reported from Toronto, OntarioZOMG I have cell phone service again. I may have waited on hold for 2 hours, but the woman who attended to my account was ******* amazing and she clearly should be running the company, not just answering inbound customer service. @TELUS, can you please promote the helpful woman?
-
YouMotorcycle (@YouMotorcycle) reported from Toronto, Ontario@darrylw71 Which is fair. But Koodo isn't a smaller company. It's owned by Telus and operates on Telus' network, so your reception would be no different on one versus the other.

-
RedPepper ๐@AC.๐ป๐ถ๐ฃ (@PepperMuzz) reported from Vaughan, OntarioItโs pretty bad when a major corporation like @TELUS @TELUSsupport canโt do anything for a long term Customer since 2008 - bring out a plan much less expensive then my current one and tells me I have to buy out my current contract in order to switch. Great loyalty TELUS.
-
Michael Nugent (@michaelnugent) reported from Toronto, OntarioOh man, someone on Reddit just reminded me of when Telus used to have their MiKE network back in the early 2000s. I remember some of my friends back in high school had those cell phones that had a built-in walkie-talkie. They looked so convenient to have by buzzing your friends.

Debra Henry (@debbyhenry) reported from Toronto, OntarioDisappointed with #Telus #CustomerService service. Was offered a great deal so I spent 30 minutes on the phone to only hear their sales office was incorrect about the deal.
-
Rick Barnes (@queerthoughts) reported from Toronto, Ontario@Qualifyfor @johndotbastable The questions asked here by this source are legit. Ask why #WeCharity is not addressing these issues. Also note this org is heavily reliant on corporate sponsorships. They've lost Telus, G&M, and Virgin in the last few days. They need to be more forthcoming.
-

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Mark Warner (@MAAWLAW) reported"[The new @Telus fee] comes just as new [#CRTC] rules are set to kick in preventing telecommunications companies from charging customers when they cancel, change or activate plans... in a move meant to make it easier for consumers to switch internet and cellphone plans."๐ค
-
Bob Bunting (@imaginet) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS First rule is never talk to customer service, ever! Call the Telus Loyalty department directly. They will help you with whatever issue you have and you will probably end up with a better plan for cheaper as a result. This is common knowledge. Spewing on X will do zero for you.
-
James (@JamesMcNeill59) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Own your own phone. 1 to 2 year plan. Make sure the service is open after plan term. Now you're in a position to negotiate.
-
Mr Wolf (@IvankaTr2024) reported@ElizabethRBess @perfectrose2011 Cancel Rogers - get tek savvy or Telus
-
Steve Aldred (@stevealdred) reportedSo @TELUS I can connect to the network without a SIM card now? No? Then charging for one is a connection fee.
-
PG (@gramm76) reported@JonFraserTF @PaulB527811000 @TELUS When I switched to Bell from Rogers it was a very pleasant experience, but I caution you, fee creep is a real thing and their service standards have dropped off in the last little while. Still better than Rogers by a mile, but I find they are not as committed to excellent service
-
The Tweet Chewbacca ๐จ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ฑ (@Chewbaccafan) reported@TELUS you will never get my business back. Abominable.
-
Justin R. Melville (@JustinRMelville) reportedItโs 4am & Iโm on the phone to Telus because I have to call in during Canadian office hours to cancel my internet service. It took 12mins for a man in Delhi (not Canada) to cancel my service using a wildly insecure method. This is @TELUSsupport in modern day Canada @CRTCeng.
-
R K Balsara (@RKBalsara) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS The rest are as bad. Freedom has the best plans, decent pricing and coverage, but horrendous support.
-
Berniceness - ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ (@Berniceness) reported@eckoboy3 @Rogers I wasn't with Rogers until they bought up Shaw. I'm looking around, but Bell and Telus are all the same for home service. Mobile is not with any of them.
