@chrisdoyle78 Mixed use or bust, but I fear the lack of amenities would make it a tough sell for residential. Dare I say even Telus Sky has that problem (but is much closer to EV Superstore).

@TELUSsupport We have called our provider Mascon (a Telus company) every day for three days. They seem not to know how to fix it.

@Tim_Lade @jamespmcleod @EmmMacfarlane Problem is this has been attempted. CRTC rigs spectrum auctions so the big three get access first. Thay also make it near impossible to build new infrastructure unless you are Bell, Rogers or Telus.

@Bell_Aliant Not yet. I will. But it's really a policy issue, not a technical issue. The throttled speed (the post-hi-speed speed) needs to be raised a little bit. With Telus, I had no problem streaming a YouTube video at 360p, even during the slow speeds. On Bell, even 144p is difficult.

@theprovince @TELUS Unfortunately, this is just false advertising. If @telus was at all sincere we would have coverage everywhere. The Princeton area during the Garrison fire and recent Knutson fire there was very little signal available. Otter valley, Highway 5a, and Hwy 40 still have NO service.

@Shawhelp @topherzac Pretending you care is nice and all, but Shaw upper managment would never back it up. Curious how many long-term, multi-contract clients you lost over Dec because Telus Fiber is cutting your price in half and paying the cancellation fees. Shaw's offer? A one-time $100 credit.

Is it acceptable @TELUS @TELUSsupport for us to be waiting over 72 hours for our internet to be reconnected? Seems to me that it’s not. We’ve spoken to no less the a dozen agents who claim 2-24 hours to flip that switch. Has anyone else had such bad service?

@LesliBoldt @DrRitaMc As a new-to-practice doctor, I got a landline as backup because I was paranoid I might miss something urgent when I was on-call. It rarely rang, and when it did, it was either spam calls or @TELUS trying to sell me some service I didn’t need. So basically more spam.

... I left Telus for their ****** service. But at least I could stream a 144p YouTube video!... or a simple audio file. Again, UP YOUR THROTTLED SPEEDS. I mean, Jesus, at least make them comparable to a McDonald's Wi-Fi!! ====
