@staceykate1973 No, but damn.. I am with Koodo... and Telus owns them. Guess that I am going to have to cancel them sooner than later. What about Freedom Mobile? It doesn't have the best networks / service, but if big tech do not yet own them, might be worth it (and they're inexpensive!).

DO NOT GET @TELUS @TELUSsupport HOME SECURITY. Cameras don't work must reboot daily. Door lock would lock itself, main panel couldn't access cameras Glass break alarm goes off with the drop of a toy. You cancel and they magically want thousands of dollars.

@Shokr73 I couldn’t believe it actually worked here. Telus sent people out to their tower to check it out and their solution was to add our house to their existing trouble area and fix nothing. We did get a better router with high device capacity and I do think that has helped.🤞for you.

@staceykate1973 I moved from Telus due to them treating me like my account and service requests were irrelevant. I am now with Shaw. I obtained the services I wanted and saving close to 900.00 over 2 years. I use Brave, DuckDuckgo f9r browsing and GMX for secure email.

I’m set up with a job search aggregator that hasn’t given me any job matches for months. Today I received an automated email titled “We’ve found the perfect job for you!” “Part time sales at Telus in Moncton, NB.” Disability work support is a joke.

@J_L_Walker I spent more than 2 hrs on the phone with @telus on Friday, & booked a service call for Saturday & THEY DIDN’T SHOW UP. It took another hour on the phone, & 3 different depts for them to finally tell me the appointment hadn’t been booked properly on their end. Brutal.

@mobutils @CRTCeng @ShawInfo Also, HSA in Bell terminology refers to ethernet connectivity (PVC) without PPPoE. This was more common originally but pricing made the service moot. In Telus territory, both PPPoE and “HSA” are available on more equitable terms but ISPs tend to choose PPPoE as easier 2 integrate

@Kromski1 @ShawInfo Our internet has gone wonky too, their solution is always 'fibre'. I refused them entry onto my property when they laid the cables, so nope! Copper has worked all these years, make it work, not playing these games... keep us posted if Shaw has any more integrity than Telus.
