    Oddly, Owen NEVER got a text. We tried it twice. I think that sealed the deal for them. In the end, we told TELUS to disable all 3rd party purchases on our accounts, and got Owen a new number (we were concerned that the number he had was no longer secure).

    @ChrisLaBossiere @Shawhelp @TELUS It really depends on "what's available" in your area. There's no Telus Fibre Optic where I live, but the "Shaw cable utility box" is on my property. From a customer service perspective, I would have already switched. I'm a captive audience, based on what's available.

    Massive thanks to @TELUS @TELUSsupport for ruining our virtual Christmas. Sent a tech to our house to fix our internet 4 hours earlier than what was agreed - he left. Then finally we got in touch with the tech only to learn that we can't be helped for the next 2 days.

    @SunRisenShine7 Telus already has 5G service and I think Bell does too. If you’re surprised 5G is here where have you been the last 6 months? This isn’t new lol

    And when calling @TELUSsupport - They hung up. Only to have us call back to hear "we're closed". I've seriously never been this upset towards a company. I should've listened to friends warning against Telus.... #MerryGrinchmas

    @TELUSsupport I was just refused the service at one of the Telus store,because I work at hospital. The funny thing is I went there to get the hospital employee plan with telus. Hey telus I would like to see the written “no hospital worker visit policy”.

    Ultimately, the charges were reversed and TELUS is investigating further. On a side note, the TELUS rep that eventually gave me the refund checked the Boku site and put in Owen’s number. It then (supposedly) sent a PIN to the number by text to sign in.

    @TekSavvyBuzz Thanks. Internet availability in Canada is atrocious. In Revelstoke, Telus bought the only competition to shut them down then jacked up the rates. It's criminal collusion and monopolizing but the CRTC is in their back pocket so all we ever get is screwed.

    Lol! Merry Christmas to the scabs at Shaw Cable. Just got a collection notice for a bill I paid weeks ago from cancelling my service in November. I'm getting 10x the speed for half the price with Telus. Shaw's new Fibre plans are a scam.
