Observation:: I drive within 250 meters if a new 5G tower and my phone ( bought new dec 2022 ) shows 5G , And yet I show 1 bar of service with my Telus carrier, if 5G is the future. What gives.

Now I question if the Internet Society is just a lip-flapper for Telus and incumbents as well for an outcome, just like CNOC. #CRTC Trust has been broken and there is no going back. CNOC did damage.

Wtf #telus you made me miss the last half hour of the #allstarcomp ! Ridiculous!!! #NHLAllStar

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Basically we have Bell, Videotron, rogers & Telus paying CNOC for #CRTC regulatory filings, hidden for a ~ year. People supposed to trust CNOC ever again as if they represent & are a voice for "independent internet service providers". They are lip flappers for incumbents.

@sccanehdian @TheYetiKnowswhy VPN would prevent telus shaw etc from knowing what your traffic is Worst case scenario there are plenty of dial up servers they have no power over globally Also Elon Musks Starlink is also another alternative

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@peternowak Way I see it, TSI (maybe with help of Open Media) needs to drive who owns distributel, Vmedia, Acanac etc. As it is people don't know Koodo is Telus. Makes a good marketing campaign for TSI, IMO.

  • apihtawikosisan âpihtawikosisân (@apihtawikosisan) reported

Also now that Telus has taken them over their already abysmal customer service has gotten a thousand times worse.

  • kidsbookartist Christine Tripp (@kidsbookartist) reported

@espnsyed @Rogers Down in ottawa, looks like another cross Canada outage. I thought mine this morning was weather related but guess not. Thankfully my phone is with Telus.

  • indi_jenn_ous Jenn Jenn (@indi_jenn_ous) reported

Customers beware @Telus has a 'software glitch' that automatically charges easy roam. They only reimburse their error for 3 months. Idiot me being critically ill for months trusted they were billing correctly or would correct THEIR errors. Nope.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Makes me wonder if Distributel, Altima, Start, CNOC etc gave money to OpenMedia to **** something? #CRTC In other words, OpenMedia flapping lips for Telus too. Even if they said no, I wouldn't believe it trust is now broken, major deception being played by Telus, CNOC & Indi's.
