@TELUS I’m breaking my social media fast because of you. Is it just a coincidence that EVERY week for the last three weeks, ever since I spoke with an agent and advised them that after almost 10 years of PURE HELL with you, I’d be cancelling my service once my contract... [1]

@benmyers29 like, the problem with John Tory being a Rogers employee is not at all that it's unfair to Bell and Telus that they can't also influence him

@rollforlearning @Travisdhanraj Had the same issue with Rogers customers (most of my family) texting me (TELUS). Unless it was iMessage. Got about 55 messages at 3am that were sent the morning before

I am not a Telus customer but love their tv ads because of the animals. The current one has a cute hippo in it.

@shov3lh3ad82 Sadly, it is true. What's really screwed up is Chinese workers have been seen installing the hardware. Telus says the Hauwei 5G equipment is not yet being used on the security sensitive "core" network. It's one thing if any ally (NSA)can spy on you, another if it's the CCP.

  • gbarone2

@theJagmeetSingh So let's disband Bell, Telus & Rogers and get service from US companies. Great idea

@RogersHelps Im not effected by the @RogersHelps or @Bell_Support issue. I’m a happy @telusmobility customer. It was more just to point out that Bell and Rogers customers using @RemindHQ will not receive SMS message a key communication tool with our kids teachers but Telus clients will

  • kinsonalley

@TELUS And the cherry on top! 45 minutes on the phone with customer care and my call drops. 😡 If I wasn’t sure this was retaliation at first, I am now. Ugh! 🙄

@patrickbetdavid to clarify on your video about Rogers. Rogers doesn’t control 90% it’s 3 companies Rogers, Bell (BCE), & Telus combined they have 90% of the market. Definitely a monopoly, we have a “Governing Organization” but run by telecom executives, so how does that help?

  • James__CW
James (@James__CW) reported from Hamilton, Ontario

Well after almost two decades I have said goodbye to Rogers and feeling great about it. I'm sure Telus is just as bad..maybe we need to stop the telecom monopoly in Canada.

OR the time the agent decide to remain and I could pickup, and I told them I am not interested, they just HANG UP ! No Thanks you or "I hope we can serve you better next time.." ! No ! Hangup to your face !!! And you guys wonder why Telus public opinion is dropping fast !!!

@TELUSsupport Hi Telus, yes, as indicated on my reply I did eventually get the issue resolved. Most support employees were lovely to talk to, there was lots of passing my issue to other people, re-explaining the issue over many hours. All good

😱 UPDATE: Crunchyroll releases statement as well as additional details on the March 12th Hack have been released "We are aware of recent claims and are currently working closely with leading cyber security experts to investigate the matter" >BleepingComputer reports hacker stole personal information for approximately 6.8 million people. >The hack occurred on March 12th at 9 pm EST, after gaining access to the Okta SSO account of a support agent working for Crunchyroll. This support agent is allegedly an employee of the Telus International business process outsourcing (BPO) company, who has access to Crunchyroll support tickets. >The hackers claimed to have used malware to infect the agent's computer and gain access to their credential >BleepingComputer reports these credentials gave access to various Crunchyroll applications, including Zendesk, Wizer, MaestroQA, Mixpanel, Google Workspace Mail, Jiro Service Management, and Slack. >Using this access, the hackers say they downloaded 8 million support ticket records from Crunchyroll's Zendesk instance. Of these records, there are allegedly 6.8 million unique email addresses. >Samples of the support tickets seen by BleepingComputer and then deleted contain a wide variety of information, including the Crunchyroll user's name, login name, email address, IP address, general geographic location, and the contents of the support tickets. >While other reports on the incident claim that credit card information was exposed, BleepingComputer has confirmed that credit card details were exposed only when the customer shared them in the support ticket. For the most part, this included only basic information, such as the last four digits or expiration dates, and only a few contained full card numbers, according to the hacker.

@TELUS @TELUSsupport I recorded a few calls yesterday with your customer service team yesterday. Pretty shocking. Terrible service. Fraud. Selling a service you aren’t providing. 👎🏻

I am back in Rogers communications. $RCI The weakness in Telus has hammered RCI in sympathy. At $45 and with the ownership of their sports assets, by my read RCI is now a 4:1 risk / reward, $5-7 down vs fair target of $70-75. 4:1 R/R is a benchmark for me for investment.

@TELUS It's always amazing when your "customer care" tells you you're lying, not once, not twice but three times, when you tell them you recieved an email from Telus and then makes you sit in silence for 40 minutes only to be called a liar again and wont let you prove the email

No retention team in Canada? You offshored everything. After 20 years as your partner, I’m done. And when did it become acceptable to make a customer wait an HOUR? FU, @TELUS

  • grok
    Grok (@grok) reported

@IXVegas @ChibiReviews According to reports and Crunchyroll's statement, the March 12 breach via third-party vendor Telus exposed customer service ticket data: ~8M records with 6.8M unique email addresses, user names, login names, IP addresses, general locations, and ticket contents. Credit cards weren't broadly stolen—only partial details (like last 4 digits) if users shared them in tickets. No passwords or full payment databases confirmed exposed. Investigation ongoing; no ongoing access found.
