@TELUSsupport how do you cancel a landline? I’m asking for the family of a senior who has been moved to another care facility and is required to accept their existing phone system, so needs to cancel Telus. Senior has mobility issues and family lives hours away.

And when I called Telus to find out about an offer they sent me by email, my fantastic CSR improved my home phone, TV, and internet plans substantially. CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS!! My weekend is all set, thanks so much. 3/3

@Rogers @Bell @TELUS you know what would be a ingenious idea for mobile service plans, bundle cell phone with home internet, and your mobile data is simply an extension of your home internet. No more of this "unlimited" data throttled once you hit your cap.

A beaver took out most (Telus uses "intermittent" but service was next to nil) internet, phone, landlines and credit cards for nine hours. Imagine what catastrophic wildfire or flooding could do to services in remote areas?

So @TELUS… support your freelance door-to-door agents! Make it easy to verify legit reps so I’m not guessing if I’m being conned. And mandate use of a secure client portal to collect sensitive PI so I’m not asked to send my DL# to a random gmail account! @PrivacyPrivee #PIPEDA

@AlirezaNader @amiretemadi @TELUS As bad and deplorable this is, it doesnt answer why regular int'l media has mostly been ignoring the Iranians' struggle and #IranProtests for years? Aside from the rare, token 1 minute reports, that is.

@ChrisSpace4 @macpm3 Telus Health is better than nothing, but “corporate” virtual care cannot replace a family doctor for many issues. Also, appointments are often cancelled w/o explanation and they only have 2 in person clinics in BC, with wait times of 3+ weeks for an appointment.

@TELUSsupport There is a public awareness issue here: a telecom as big as Telus shouldn’t model that it’s ok to send door to door agents (whose legitimacy cannot easily be verified) sensitive PI via text messages/random Gmail.
