@nicklmg I had Telus 300 for awhile in Victoria, until I upgraded to 10G. It was great and speeds were actually closer to 350 up and down.

@1VocalGuy @TheBreakdownAB Telus already had a contract with AHS for health record stuff. Pay attention at your docs office next time and notice the signin cards.

@TheBreakdownAB Did you know that when you sign up for a Telus phone business contract it includes Telus answering your 911 calls? They will be your first contact and decide where to forward your emergency.

@nicklmg I pay $95 for fiber connection 1GB/download and upload from Telus, and I'm in Vancouver. Certain areas suck ***. Also Shaw sucks *** if you're using it anywhere in the Lower Mainland.

@LordParasit @JustinTrudeau Its a monopoly controlled by Bell Rodgers and Telus. Even the US has access to cheap phone plans like wind. All our cheap plan companies are owned by one of the 3 and they restrict service to make you switch to a more expensive plan. Capitalism promotes monopolies.

@Sam_Robbins3 @DaleV73 @David_Moscrop For rural people, we’ve been down this road before with Telus SmartHubs. It’s sold on a big promise, everyone buys in, then it turns out they oversold and can’t provide the service at a reasonable quality and we get stuck with a system that doesn’t work and costs a ton.

@wind_rolling These pointless spectrum auctions are just another example of government status quo, claims of lower pricing, subsidizing rural broadband, while taking billions from big telecom just to completely pass it down to consumer. This only benefits Rogers, Bell & Telus.
