  • TheeMokonzi The cake charmer (@TheeMokonzi) reported

Telus is offering 50GB of internet for 90 + unlimited calls and texting in Canada and in the US And I currently pay 90$ for 15GB. And every month I go to the US, the bill is 150$. I think ******** not

  • spencerbennett1 Spencer Bennett 🇺🇦 (@spencerbennett1) reported

@jwporteous @JJ_McCullough Wouldn’t a “state owned” telecom service be a monopoly? At least now we have Rogers and Telus. Only half the lines went down.

  • RandyLa12841752 Randy Lahey (@RandyLa12841752) reported

@midwifek @MrAhmednurAli Ok but you can jump to bell or Telus. What do you do when your OHIP sucks?

  • silvanakingsl Silvana (@silvanakingsl) reported

@davidcheyne We know this was something nefarious. I know this was practice run for what is coming. Like you said I am sure it will be telus, Bell next, this is bigger than just a regular outage. Rogers is owned by Blackrock and Vanguard what does that tell you?

  • daftJackal daftJackal (@daftJackal) reported

@MobileSyrup No, I'm not changing anything. *BUT*, my setup already has cross-carrier redundancy. When Rogers went out, I simply tethered to my Telus service.

  • mlunsted Mike Lunsted (@mlunsted) reported

@StephanieCarvin @a_picazo @VassB What should be happening, IMO, is using other carriers as backup. If Rogers goes down, then traffic should be load balanced between Telus and Bell and let Rogers pick up the tab later. But that’s a whole different bag of cats.

  • crypto_tunaaaa CryptooooTunaaaa (@crypto_tunaaaa) reported

@TELUS has to be the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

  • chieffatguy Chief Fat Guy *rich people suck*🇨🇦 🏳️‍🌈 (@chieffatguy) reported

@StephenJack4 @StephenPunwasi Never going to happen. I would suspect there is only one national network. Telus is fully integrated with Bell and Rogers is only a nationwide cell network. I would guess only Bell has a full, Fibre, hardliners, microwave, cell network Canada wide. And I took them 100 years

  • mxxca_ mica (@mxxca_) reported

@itssonia_kay It’s not bad but my connection isn’t always good cuz me and my grandparents all have at least 2-3 devices connected at once so there’s always someone lagging (me). Idk if it’s cuz there’s not many telus towers near my area or what

  • Foodieheart2 Redridinghood (@Foodieheart2) reported

@robyncrawford_ @CityNewsVAN All good here, Rogers service is fine, had Telus for years and switched as they have so many no zones, where with Rogers always have service. It was one day, not sure why everyone so up tight, we rely too much on tech anyway. My opinion
