@bowker_john A credit card fee is a cost of doing business. It makes it easy for the customer and the company to collect payment. This should not be allowed. Telus take a lesson form OLG who were trying to charge a fee for processing lottery tickets on line, but since retracted it

So @TELUS sends me an email to pay my last and final bill… I go to login to my account to put a payment on it and I can’t even get in and says “account number no valid” You guys are seriously the worst!!! I just want to wash my hands off with this god awful company

@DuaneStorey @rodmickleburgh @TELUS You could still be correct; they might be using a workaround. They don't collect it themselves. For CC you pay through a third party, while all their other payments are direct. They add the fee and then send it to that third party, so that merchant is never adjusting the price.

Good move though... switching to Telus fiber internet now. 1 Gbps up & down. $80 per month, 2 year contract. No install fee. $150 credit towards shaw cancelation fee. Next day install.
