@robinksg That’s even better than the local mom in a FB group who lamented that YYC didn’t have a “science centre” anymore. When others said it’s known as Telus Spark now it… didn’t compute… “oh, damn, too bad we don’t have a science centre to go to!” Head-slapping in the idiocy.

My parents had scam call this am. My mom hung up landline but scammers did not. After unplugging modem + phones, landline still won’t work. @TELUS won’t help them over the phone + are going to charge $150 to come out + reset. Anyone have ideas on how they can reset themselves?

@TELUS @HockeyCanada Wonder why we have staffing issues? Perhaps these draconian laws you morons wanted implemented is the reason. Stop testing, stop restrictions. Stop all of it now!!

“There’s a 2$ fee to pay your bill in store.” @TELUS is actually the worst, and it’s not just the spam emails when you’re well aware that you’re broke and having trouble paying a bill that’s necessary for your employment.

@Scotty_McQ @tak23oda I mean TELUS literally charges customers for an “eSIM booklet” for EACH activation. So they print a QR code on paper and it costs $45. And you can’t reuse it when you upgrade or even do a restore… a horrible experience. I honestly think they all fear being “only” a dumb pipe.

@JulieMHelps @TELUS It was that call at about 7 am - that the Visa was compromised - but she just hung up on them. I would have thought they would hang up after all this time. They’re going to keep things unplugged and hopefully this will reset itself!
