@HeySeto I was a loyal Telus supporter for 10+ years and made the switch to Fido! Never been more happy. Great customer service, solid plan and they also have daily contests on their app with monthly freebies.

  • JulieYAli Julie Ali (@JulieYAli) reported

@TELUS So here is the thing. When I write to Brian J. Porter the CEO of @scotiabank I cc him on every communication until my problem is resolved. He has never asked me to stop cc'ing him. Maybe he is a CEO who actually cares about customers.

  • tfer68 Trent Ferguson (@tfer68) reported

@BethCharron1 @Bret_Sears Except that our 5G network is already up and running. Telus is using Huawei hardware.

  • MyTwoCents000 My Two Cents (@MyTwoCents000) reported

@MercedesGlobal @theoargitis Too late, Huawei's been imbedded in Telus' wireless network about 20 yr now

  • ingenity KennyJ (@ingenity) reported

@AlbertaLeonidas Colour me a skeptic. Our govt has a huge woody for surveillance data. Telus has stopped implementation, but, they are not removing any switches from the network. In theory, it just takes one in the configuration to siphon metadata. Who knows, how do we verify?

  • blacktopher Christopher Black (@blacktopher) reported

@MercedesGlobal @ChrisGNardi I wonder how much $$$ we're going to give to Telus to compensate them for their bad business decision.

  • tonydehnke Tony Dehnke - 12v.Biz 🧰 & Dive Site Reports 🤿 (@tonydehnke) reported

Is it just me or is the Wifi at @StarbucksCanada using @telus really slow now? Last 2 I've been at have been about 2 Mbps download speed. Videos wouldn't even playback well. If SB wants to be the "third place" for people, wifi slower than most people's phones is pretty poor.

  • MyTwoCents000 My Two Cents (@MyTwoCents000) reported

@LeslynLewis It doesn't matter anymore anyway - Huawei's been imbedded in Telus' wireless network about 20 yr now

  • mroechner mark roechner (@mroechner) reported

@CP24 So Telus is afraid of freedom mobile going to Quebecor and would rather help globealive who couldn’t make a go of it when they owned freedom before selling it to Shaw after losing money for years

  • JDEye jDi (@JDEye) reported

@krisster8 @TrueNorthCentre Telus started swapping out their Huawei cellular equipment last summer, in a project expected to take a couple years or so to complete. No word on if they're also swapping higher-level network devices in their central offices yet.
