@jrodthelrod @xraygirl_ That's my guess. It was just a Rogers internet outage. And anyone that leases lines from them. Telus, Bell, etc. were all fine.

This is the second time lost revenue for a total of 1000$ due to two outages with Rogers network. No more Rogers! No more monopoly of critical infrastructure !

@PaulDoroshenko I think Canada has either Bell or Telus as backbone networks. I am unaware that Rogers also has a backbone. Maybe it does. In Germany it is Deutsche Telekom. But the US has multiple carriers thanks to the breakup of AT&T. Monopoly is crap.

My theory is it was a cyber attack but all orchestrated by Telus so they can become the sole force behind Canada’s mobile and internet markets. Never liked those guys. They still owe me $100. Am I bias? Yes.

Because of the Rogers outage,my mother couldn't get a hold of me to tell me one of my cousins died of a massive heart attack today. It happened this morning, I was only able to find out late at night because my roommate(with telus) let me call her to check in. #rogersoutage
