After two more missed appointments today, I finally gave on getting my services installed by @telus. So I switched over to @ShawInfo, who gave me a great deal. Funny thing is, I was perfectly happy with my @telus service, until the forced me to "upgrade".

@jamesrcs Wyze cam or some other from Amazon. The telus one is outrageously bad!

@DrJayDrNo I did mention that on my last “chat” with a Telus supervisor. As well as a few other “issues” like how does someone not retired find time to phone and speak with techs. Why if one is one second late with payment, interest is charged, yet there’s no a rebate when service is out.

Stefan Hawes (@hawes) reported
In my ongoing issues with @telus, they've now missed their second appointment of the day. Booked from 3:00 to 5:00 to make up for the 9:00 to 11:00 appointment they missed.

@tower_Guy @jfmezei I know, and they do it poorly. On paper XCI seems not too bad and maybe for some people it works okay. But it is not in the market to compete with Bell Rogers and Telus it is mainly there to fill in gaps. Which it does poorly too in my experience.

@leighfromcanada I went with my sis to Telus so she could buy a new phone, and the guy asked me who I was with. He told me to buy my phone out and cancel my plan lol. YOU buy my phone outright and I’ll consider a plan.

@MrRuscitti @TELUS @TELUSsupport The person’s job is literally to deal with customer concerns in a congenial and supportive manner and then outright laugh at you like you don’t manner…another example of corporate arrogance. Good for you, Robert, for calling it out.

@TELUSsupport Sorry telus, but @netflix landed itself in a tarpit from bad management and is sinking.. constantly increasing rates, fee's and nothing new to show for it.. it's going to share the same fate as @blockbuster in the next few years. Blockbuster will have it's revenge.
