Why can't some other company other than Telus do it? -Because there is literally nobody else. How can a company with no experience in data centers build data center? - They have 5 data centers already and building a data center has less to do with what is inside and more to do with the services it provides and the SLA. How can it be true that the only qualified party to take on one of the most important technology projects in the country is one of the biggest technology companies in the country? - ... How can it be true there is only one qualified party in the country? - Why would the opposite be true?
