@jedgar my bad, i had a preconceived notion with Telus be my the one to build a data center. It’s like hearing T-Mobile building AWS or AT&T building GCP. What’s the reliability of Telus data center like?

@pennypacker_h @TELUS 30 minutes to get to some sort of agent to address my query. Then, after I tell the agent I want to order a device, he puts me on hold to test my system remotely, then asks what issues I have. 20 minutes after, the agent tells me that ordering the device is not his department.

@NorthrnPrspectv Worked for McKesson, RelayHealth, SureScripts, etc. Libs glanced at e-prescribing in the U.S. “Lets build our own Rx network”. Libs dropped $300 M on PrescribeIT. Doctors refused. Adoption rate: >5%. Will be shut down this month. TELUS gets huge check; Canadians get nothing.

“Maybe Telus sent a long message do you want me to read it?” **** no.

Carney literally just announced a $25 billion slush fund offering his wealthy investor friends a chance to profit off Cdn. owned infrastructure. Yesterday Carny enriched Telus shareholders with another $2 Billion taxpayer financed gift. You are an idiot & fraud to not see this.

Breaking this down so it makes sense: BREAKING: Telus and feds to build big AI data centres in B.C. 1/

@telus big pet peeve of mine is having to call in to a service provider because they have made severe errors on a bill. Makes me think this nonsense is intentional because the average person doesn't catch it.

@PaulyTremonte @tunguz in the context of AI the useful metric is FLOPS/$, or useful compute per dollar. On this measure, Telus is far behind the pack. They also provide the ~worst telecom service in the entire developed world at the most expensive rates. So yeah, I expect it to be done similarly poorly

@The_Brian_Life Canada needs its own in house CDN ownedcAI data centre. Telus is a reasonable candidate Having two downtown Vancouver - why? MT Pleasant is very close . Water is an issue and noise concerns - huge

@MTe005 @cd_hooks @Lux_Stella_ instead of building this in the middle of nowhere they’re gonna waste prime real estate and staggering amounts of tax payer dollar so Telus and the other telecoms and gut their workforces even further. Absolute retard you are
