@ShayeGanam I’ve been with Telus since Dec. 1997, and I’ve never had an issue like this.:)

  • jbkvcasr_bj JB (@jbkvcasr_bj) reported

@TheBeaverton Uneventful day! Hardly noticed cell phone wasn’t working. What does that tell you? Two things-life doesn’t end if Rogers, Telus, Fido, Bell,… fail and amount they charge you for their unreliable service is insane.

  • redmcgraw1 jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported

@FP_Champagne Is there a policy and technical way to ensure that canadians could switch to another provider (say videotron, bell, telus or shaw) if a provider (say rogers) goes down on an emergency basis, at the expense of of the downed provider (example rogers)?

  • netter48 Jeanette (@netter48) reported

@biggles14 @ScottDavid2020 Telus only rents their towers from Bell. Will never have full reception Bell has. Have Telus at work 15+ yrs & its turned to garbage in last 4. Dropped calls, can't send text, ppl say they call & it didn't come through etc. Doesn't matter if in town, city, country, just awful

  • acerbic_comic Marg K (@acerbic_comic) reported

@RealAndyLeeShow And you honestly believe its the mandate of Rogers, Bell and Telus to fix the climate? No wonder you are on that downmarket radio station.

  • votingnurse Elle♥️voting (@votingnurse) reported

@subvoyeur @HeatherMoAndCo Our landline and tv didn’t work with outage. Neither did our Telus cells. I was in a situation where I had to call a doctor at the hospital and the hospital lines were down too. Very serious issues esp for palliative care pt in Durham.

@StormyEnt That's why you go telus. Every company is **** , atleast telus has more cell towers and faster service

  • Johnnyrock3000 Johnny Simon Rock (@Johnnyrock3000) reported

@DutchHockeyMom This is why we need starlink and free internet for all Canadian. Those retarded company slow down our progress and our economic. Roger TELUS bell and real mafia. #rogersoutage

  • isi4drecordx Isy baybee (@isi4drecordx) reported

@charityslim @TundeTASH Most of the Telecommunications sector is run by Rogers and Bell. You have few others like Shaw and Telus. Yesterday Rogers had nationwide shutdown and this affected mobile data and WiFi. Plenty organisations didn't have Internet. Bank transfers were not working

  • giolac33 Giovanni LaCorte (@giolac33) reported

@taimhuynh That’s why I use both carriers in my house. Bell, Telus & Rogers will never merge. We have options for redundancies. If service is critical then those companies (like Interac) should include the redundancy. Dual SIM devices exist. This should be a lesson to not max profits.
