@JonFraserTF @TELUS Exactly why I left them as well after being a loyal customer. Very bad customer experience.

@JonFraserTF @TELUS You fell for the "lease phone" trick. It's the same as leasing a car. Get the car, return it when your lease is up, and pay for any damage to the car. I never understood why that lease contract was legal in Canada. Next time only consider contracts where you own the phone.

@garymasonglobe @TELUS Takes forever to get service. Been waiting 4 weeks for a new remote. Called today & was told the order was still being processed and a $30 charge for the remote. Tech put in a new order saying 7 to 10 biz days. Local Telus store offered a new one for free.

@TELUSsupport I've tried to connect with you via your online tools. I got a call back but it was gibberish, no one was actually there. Please text me for my phone number and then maybe you can help me with my faulty Telus equipment

@JonFraserTF @Ingemar4910 @TELUS Ya. Let me assure you that Roger’s and Bell are both *very* capable of kafkaesque customer service.

@KerrGordon Not typically — SIM cards are separate from the device. The phone connects to the network via the SIM (or eSIM). Telus framing it as hardware doesn't change that it's a mandatory access fee.
