Backing up 40TB to 2 cloud services... so 80TB upload. Looking at Telus Pure Fibre 1.5 Gigabit... exactly same 940 Mbps upload limit as their (1.0) Gigabit service (which we use). That is unexpected... thought Fiber speeds are always symmetrical?

@DanAlbas My cellphone bill went down because I switched from Rogers to @Telus. Now Rogers keeps calling me trying to win me back, with $5 less a month than I'm paying now. The way I see it, them calling me is an admission that they were overcharging a loyal customer for 20 years.

@jjhorgan John, There are NO doctors on Salt Spring Island! The ones we do have REFUSE to take waiting lists! It makes no sense to have a Telus doctor phone call, go pick up my prescription and then wait in EMERGENCY at the one and only hospital for a Dr., to administer my prescription!

Out of curiosity, I clicked on "OFFERS" to see what they have for a customer of 3+ years. How nice of TELUS to save me $10 bucks for a phone repair. Outside of that, no special offers for me. (I don't deserve them anyway).

@jacquesleger17 @DanAlbas That won't be accurate either. At least on Telus, the plan prices went down but the change wasn't automatic. I had to manually make the change to save the money.
