    Nationalize telecoms: Bell, Telus and Rogers have a monopoly, and basically act together like a cartel to control prices. Telecommunications is an essential service, and we shouldn’t be paying outrageous and unaffordable prices to access infrastructure built with public funds.

    @steeletalk It is inconceivable that the telcos don’t have the technology to authenticate a call. If we fined them $10,000 for every illegal call on their network the problem would be solved by tomorrow morning. The reason it isn’t is that the telcos make money on it. @TELUS
