Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Pender Island and nearby locations:

  • MetalBlonde Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

We’ve been stuck using Telus internet via cell towers until this gets sorted out, and it works only half the time. @shawhelp told us we would have internet in September. Then in October. Then in Nov, Dec, Jan...now @shawhelp is saying they’ll cancel unless we pay $5K

  • Captnwilly Bill Perry (@Captnwilly) reported from Sidney, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport how do we get Telus technical support to call us at home?

  • mjeso michael eso (@mjeso) reported from Sidney, British Columbia

@bcgeu @TELUS is a profitable company providing payroll services to the BC Government. Shameful that they are not prepared to treat their employees fairly!

  • SailorsDavid David Martin (@SailorsDavid) reported from Pender Island, British Columbia

@TELUSBusiness I’m done with Telus, I’ve been with them for over 20 years. This latest fiasco with Telus email being down for 3 days was completely unacceptable and then to kiss and make up with a $10 discount is an insult. Find the missing e-transfers!! I’m going to Shaw

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • torsensfan ashley dent (@torsensfan) reported

@rogerstv & @ADT @TELUS not a good day for customer support. Have been on hold and hung up on by your companies 10 times now plus waiting for over a month for service appointments.

  • MikeWardDraws Michael Ward - Smashed Reality (@MikeWardDraws) reported

@myownfairytale @TELUSsupport I was dropping packets with Telus for so long and even though I recorded it they kept telling me it was running normally. I switched to Shaw and it's been good for 3 years. Although I know others have had issues with Shaw so it might be a "damned if you do" either way scenario.

  • mantalicious Steve Manta (@mantalicious) reported

@Garossino I don’t know how big an issue this really is. Rogers, Telus and Bell all announced last year they were building out their 5G networks without using Huawei.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@jfmezei Hunh, wut?I haven't been following this one. WTF is this, "TELUS Accuracy Fee" exactly? More info pls.

  • andynez Some Guy (@andynez) reported

4 days ago I activated CALL CONTROL on my @telus mobility account. That’s FOUR days straight without a single spam call. I cannot recommend this service hard enough.

  • DrTed77 Greg The Asymmetrical 😸😽✌️ 🐕 (@DrTed77) reported

@ohnoyoudihnt @DrJayDrNo Sadly true. It’s grim that to actually get service, you need to talk to “customer retention” instead of “customer service.” Also, **** Telus with a big rubber ****. Then break it off & beat ‘em to death with the rest of it. (C) G. Carlin.

  • canadiancrsh Lisa. 🇨🇦 (@canadiancrsh) reported

@FacetiousCJ10 @TELUS I agree. Their service is not good. Not from personal experience but from friends. I had such good service at @TELUS

  • canadiancrsh Lisa. 🇨🇦 (@canadiancrsh) reported

Loving my new service with @TELUS much better service than when I was with Bell ..

  • Eric0Lawton Eric Lawton (@Eric0Lawton) reported

@Ibycter @TELUS Now that spoofing is so easy, blocking individual numbers is rarely effective. The phone companies could fix the spoofing by signing the metadata but it would require a global standard; too much trouble for them.

  • mantalicious Steve Manta (@mantalicious) reported

@stevewoodYYC @MichelletypoQ @Garossino Rogers first announced in Jan 2020, and Telus and Bell a few months later. This has been a dead issue for nearly 2 years
