J’ai contacté telus un tech est passé mercredi et me dit qu’il ne peut rien faire. Je doit attendre l’équipe nacelle! Telus ne peut même pas me dire quand il viendront ! Wow!!!

Any other business working like this would be bankrupt. Telus is the worst provider choice !!!

Since I use a vpn and wireguard for work, I tested the speed of the connections... Fiber Optic from @telus is way faster without the vpn, but I can't do that for work.... Starlink was faster then the optic on the vpn... I don't really have an idea as to why, I do know that I am physically close to the main trunk lines and main pbx for the area, so that might have a lot to do with it... more switches to deal with in vpn mode via optic, less with starlink. This was actually surprising for me. So as far as wireguard+vpn starlink wins for sure. But... I still have an issue with the billing office being in Canada, and randomizing the mac address is still a problem, but that one might be just the way I have configured things, will look more into it. As for the canada connection, that might be solved later via some changes that are coming for us as a family. we'll see.

When I try to reset my password or use the Login Link email feature, Telus doesn’t send me the emails for either. And yes, my email entered is correct. What is happening?

Bruce McGonigal (@bruce_mcgonigal) reportedSmart TVs also can be turned on remotely, including the Alexa microphone in your remote control. It can also hack your wifi network and all devices on it. China did it for years in the USA. My FireTV when connected to the computer was changing settings on my PC, when connected via an HDMI cable, BUT NOT TURNED ON. I could tell because my PC screen would change as if a new monitor was turned on and found out it was the TV doing it. So a TV not turned on was still interfacing with my computer without my permission. I also noticed my TV was doing updates despite the fact my TV was not connected to my wifi network. Instead it was doing the updates without my permission, using the 4K Telus digital box it was connected to.

North American (@LongshoreCowboy) reported@JayGenXer I have another year of a "contract" with @TELUS. I will be cancelling it, paying their bullshit penalty and moving to @Starlink by mid-September. I suggest every Canadian who hates this bill does the same. Once a Musk company offers cellular service, it switches too. I am so done with fascist Canada.

Telus ran fiber optic out past our place and offered a great price.. so we sucked in and got hooked up. We have been having issues with it cutting in and out the past few days. Strange coincidence
