    I'm on a train from Toronto to Montreal, and I can't believe we can't get reliable internet for the entire trip with VIA Rail. Onboard wifi dropping constantly and even Videotron's network has terrible coverage over the entire ride. Really wish they could use Starlink somehow.

    @Videotron Will you reset bonus monthly/yearly data? It would be unfair to have lost a good percentage of it due to internet being down.

    @mchkzn Videotron is garbage. Bell all the way. I get coverage in areas where nobody does and 5G speeds in Ottawa are 500 download.

    @Videotron I am beyond frustrated. I work from home and the Internet cuts every 5-10 mins it’s been a solid 2 hours I am not able to work. It’s very infuriating when you can’t even work because the wifi keeps going down.

    4. Allowing vertical integration: The cable companies bought the TV networks, and the CRTC thought this would help give them bigger pockets. Bell bought CTV (and later V/Noovo), Shaw bought Global, Rogers bought Citytv, Videotron bought TVA. But it didn't help the balance sheet.

    Many years ago my bro worked in the technical service for what's now videotron It was awful! One guy called to yell that his cable was out. My bro told him to go to his TV. He said he wasn't home. 🤔 So why did he call? Because a friend nearby had his cable out! Nuts!
