@Videotron @DjBlaster Interesting. We’ve dealt with Videotron maybe 3 times as potential customers and every time we’ve had agenda flat out refuse to speak English. Even when we get telemarketing calls, when I say I don’t speak French they just say “ok bye” and hang up. Always a bad experience.

@fagstein @Videotron No internet problem on my Videotron account but two days ago I did notice my Videotron PVR cable box's time display was lagging by seven minutes!! Never saw that before. Just putting it out there.

@DisneyStudiosCA I paid for a subscription today for my residence in Montreal. My ISP (Cronomagic) is a reseller for one of the major ISPs (Videotron). Disney+ is blocking me, identifying my IP address as "outside of Canada", which it is not (!). No service unless my cellular data. Not happy!

Based on the #CRTC rules in regards to the outage reports, and the fact the no one else filled an outage report, we can conclude Bell actually own Rogers, Freedom and Videotron, or they just buy access from Bell which, per the rules, is allowed to be hidden.

The Tribunal put great weight on how competitive backhaul markets were & how that would underpin the success of Videotron as a replacement for Freedom Mobile & even as a new rival for bundled ISP & TV services. @Bell, you really need to start offering better internet packages if you want me as a customer. 5mb download and 680kb upload for 60$ a month is crazy, I'll stay with videotron
