  @Bryson_M The problem is that promises were made to the 2007 class of new entrants (of which only Videotron and Eastlink remain ( Wind was sold so not sure original promises still binding). Govt agreed to shield them from new competition.

  @slimyswampghost man this sucks. Everyone in Canada had cool video stores and i had "Superclub Videotron" where you could buy cable boxes and rent movies and games. kinda wild how the TV people were ALSO in the market of giving alternatives to TV though.

  Never take @Videotron, it's the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Now that I have had my experience with Videotron after having had @Bell, I can advise you to go to Bell.
