@NoLore Since normal texting does not rely on the internet that would be an excellent idea! We could as long as Videotron has consent from the client in their customer center to receive texts from the company. We will pass on the idea to the appropriate department, thank you! -sms

@LiRong201909 @Videotron You should just leave it, google's is more reliable. If you still want to go back, where you put in 8.8.8.8, right beside it , drop down menu, pick "Obtained from ISP", for dns server

@Videotron Modem and router. Obviously tried the standard unplugging and resetting many times during the last 20 hours. Trying to change my DNS server to the Google one and not working either. At a loss and need my schoolwork.

@Videotron The outage today put me totally offline -- no data or wifi. I only say there was a bigger issue when I finally got service back. I didn't have any way to look your number up! A text would have been appreciated.

@CBergstaller @Videotron Technically not an internet outage, it's the DNS servers they hardcoded into their shitty routers that are down.
