So @Videotron sent a collection agency to collect $$ from my 84yr old with ALS for not returning his cablebox. The issue is that the tech who installed the box put a lock on it and we could not remove. I explained to videotron reps but they just want $$ #greedy

.@CompBureau expert argues that Videotron will have less competitive strength than Shaw Mobile & Freedom b/c it lacks the same level of access to wireline facilities, weaker customer base, less ability to bundle & to ctl parameters of business, etc.

@Bryson_M The problem is that promises were made to the 2007 class of new entrants (of which only Videotron and Eastlink remain ( Wind was sold so not sure original promises still binding). Govt agreed to shield them from new competition.

@TheLastLinda Glad to know he’s trying. I’m with @FreedomMobile which is cheap but they only have a 4G network. And since Shaw announced the sale to Rogers, which has Videotron buying Freedom, talk of upgrading their network has ceased.
