James Somaeck (@somaeck) reportedI reached out to @Videotron today to inquire into contractual penalties for ending the services I have with them. I have no qualms with the product - it has been pretty good. #eSim and unified billing though are not available. A thread on what went down... 1/9

Jean Laroche (@boursouvie) reportedAnyone here has audio problems with @CNBC linear TV (Vidéotron is my internet provider)?
-
Dwayne Winseck (@mediamorphis) reported@Bryson_M @BenKlass @MersereauMichel +1 to this pt. The Tribunal put great weight on how competitive backhaul markets were & how that would underpin the success of Videotron as a replacement for Freedom Mobile & even as a new rival for bundled ISP & TV services. All w/ no public data to support the claim.

Paul Nagy (@PaulWNagyJr) reported@Videotron No problem. I know you were busy. We got it back Tuesday. Thank you. I did use most of my 24 GB of mobile data though... I still have quite a bit of the 20 GB monthly bonus left... but will the data be cut off if I get to the end of that 20 GBs before the cycle finishes on May 6?

Zohar Bat Sarah 🇨🇦🇮🇱 (@Melinster) reportedAnyone else unable to use their phone on @Videotron today? Getting a "not registered on network message". Installed their new Sim card, still not working.

Morin (@MorinLoL1) reported@drewlevin IDK if you are able to put me in contact with the right person, but there has been a disconnection problem with all Videotron (Internet provider) users in Quebec, Canada since last patch... We randomly DC for 30 seconds literally every game/few times a game. Only LOL.

Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" With Rogers shutting its 3G network on July 31 too, it’s likely that Freedom Mobile and Videotron’s 3G shutdown is related, since its wireless customers also roam on Rogers. “Starting July 31, 2025, one of our Canadian partners will begin shutting down their 3G network, beginning with the province of Quebec, as well as Ottawa, and it’s surrounding areas,” says Freedom Mobile. Recently, Rogers and Fido have already started cutting off working phones that were using its 3G networks, in what was deemed accidental. Rogers is also charging a $75 network fee if users continue to use 3G networks. "

Derek Kilian (@DerekJKilian) reported@Videotron I guess they still can’t do math… With all the people without service I CANNOT believe them. How do they calculate their efficiency? Je crois qu’ils ne savent pas calculer… Avec toutes les personnes qui n’ont pas de services, je ne les CROIS PLUS!
