Day 6 of @Videotron’s outage in Ottawa South. No update on when service will return. Call to support suggested it may be a month. Proceed with caution when selecting a carrier when you live near the edge. Repairs are slooooooow.

Week 2 of @videotron mobile outage in Ottawa. Support confirmed it won’t be resolved for weeks, if not MONTHS! I thought Ottawa was lucky to have Videotron coverage, but it’s a low quality product. Sad I’m likely switching to Bell or Rogers.

@Videotron is there a data issue with cellular networks in #Ottawa area? Data doesn't work. Happens on both my wife's iPhone 12 and my Samsung S21. #outage

@cuto8 @Videotron I’ve been having troubles with my data in Ottawa South for the last few days. Support said they were aware of the issue on Wednesday. Now Saturday without LTE. Calls and 3G works, so just very slow. Based on Twitter is seems like many issues around their network.

@DrSamTheDentist @Videotron Ya, they told me the workaround is to drop it down to 3G/HSPA+. Still pretty inconvenient if we're paying for the service. Also it takes a while for the outgoing call to register.
