@Flott_ttv @AdmiralHackbar @Videotron I'm just wondering how I can access twitter and Facebook but can't connect to my Helix portal or use a browser as mobile data doesn't work either 🤔

Apparently Videotron's Helix service is locked to their DNS servers and users can't change them. Can anyone confirm? That's pretty bad.

@Toothpaste1077 @ItalStallion14 @Videotron It's a DNS problem. Every device/service/app that access directly by IP or that have the IPs cached won't be affected.

Dear Gamers,

@Videotron If your phone network is still working: You can access the internet if you change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. Videotron's DNS servers are completely down. Go to your Network Properties, then select TCP/IPv4 and click on Properties, you'll see the DNS options at the bottom.

@Videotron Expecting a credit after all the shenanigans lately; and I will not be talking about the shitty router that comes with your internet that keeps dropping connections 8 times a day. Get your **** together Videotron, or maybe I should start considering another provider.

@chezjonesy @Videotron I agree, I've had a great service, and this was unexpected. a head's up (if possible) would have been nice, I thought it was my issue, didn't know it was system wide.
