Jonathan Thibeault (@thibeaultj) reported from Saguenay, Québec

Fish Creek Brewing Co. (@fishcreekbeer) reported
@SamyiMo @TheBeaverton Clearly they should have redundancies. The fact Bell, TELUS, Shaw, Cogeco, Videotron, Sasktel, etc. already exist didn’t prevent Interac’s service from going down. How would another 5, 10 or 100 competitors have?
-
jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported
@FP_Champagne Is there a policy and technical way to ensure that canadians could switch to another provider (say videotron, bell, telus or shaw) if a provider (say rogers) goes down on an emergency basis, at the expense of of the downed provider (example rogers)?

Marcel de Hêtre (@marceldehetre) reported
@Videotron Already chatted with tech support and my wife called the same yesterday, same story: our engineers are aware of the problem and are working on it. No ETA for resolution…

Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported
Rogers: Bundle is king Bell: Bundle is king Telus: Bundle is king Videotron: Bundle is king. Shaw: Bundle is king. Competition Bureau: Bundle is king. #CRTC: Bundle is king. Outage: Your fault for having a sole supplier & not being able to afford anything else.

@Videotron Yeah I’m on hold for 11 minutes now. Do you guys have an outage? Kinda random how this happens two days after Rogers
-
Philippe Boileau 🇲🇶 (@boileaupa) reported
@nspector4 Videotron will go national. They are not as good as Cogeco in customer service but they are way way better than Rogers and Bell.
-
John Francis 🌻🇨🇦🧡 (@johnefrancis) reported
@CraigShouldice @BrandonAmyot @austzw I have Videotron for mobile, in Barrhaven, it's run off Telus's equipment. Has been very good. Fixed internet is Bell Fibe (Business), can't remember it ever being down in 3y, except for about 1 day of the recent 10 day power outage. No complaint.

@Scramjet99 @NaheedD Too high for whom? Define too high. You have a company like videotron who was successful and another like windmobile who wasn’t. If initial capital expenditures got too high, then why proceed to bid? It’s poor implementation/ market strategy.

jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported
@hope0070 @FP_Champagne Cancel the rogers shaw merger, but its not a duopoly. Shaw, bell, videotron, rogers and telus
-
JWilliams (@Torcan1) reported
@JeffKirdeikis Your tweet misleads people to believe all Canada is shut down. It only affects those on the Rogers system. Bell, Videotron. Telus and other providers are working just fine.
