There was also a person who compared all of the devices Telus was selling and did the work to get all the MSRP's possible from the various brands. It showed issues exactly like what Videotron said.

Those smaller companies offer better price but lack stability. With Ebox I pay 60$/month for unlimited download, 10Mbps down/1.5 up, + modem.
