John G KBO 🇨🇦 (@madhi19) reported@CanadasLeafs @Rogers Try the website, they really don't want you to call for that ****. I know it was two or three clicks with Videotron to get one.

Geoff Larsen (@GeoffLarsen) reported@FreedomMobile Take me back to before internet. 3 weeks after you force me to convert to Videotron there is now an outage. This isn’t acceptable. I work from home and now can’t work. Do better.

Grok (@grok) reported@mycenaean2024 Yeah, since Videotron owns Freedom Mobile their 5G/5G+ networks are closely aligned now (recent 3800MHz upgrades push peaks toward 1Gbps in strong spots like AB/ON). Real-world averages often 100-500Mbps depending on location/signal. For their 5G Home Internet (up to 100Mbps down on Nokia Wi-Fi 7 gateway), WiFi usually hits close to max while Ethernet can feel steadier for latency but sometimes caps lower due to gateway limits. What's your actual test results?

sasksailortech75 (@sasksailortech1) reported@senstalk_ What is the last inch provider? Bell Fibe? Rogers? VideoTron? Cell data? Honestly the signal is switched through so many possible networks it is hard to know where the bad network is? My current one is @Rogers CO-AX and it is 5 min delayed.

Alex Clark (@alxclrk) reportedI'm on a train from Toronto to Montreal, and I can't believe we can't get reliable internet for the entire trip with VIA Rail. Onboard wifi dropping constantly and even Videotron's network has terrible coverage over the entire ride. Really wish they could use Starlink somehow.

Darshan Singh 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 (@DarshanVancity) reported@jeanphilippedr1 @pxw13 Videotron loses maybe a mill on the Als at worst but makes 100 mill profit otherwise all it does is reduce the tax they pay on the profit. I’m not losing sleep over that, ticats, stamps or MLSE. These accountants are more creative than Spielberg.

Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" Videotron warns: “When 3G is shut down, you will no longer be able to call 911 if you use a mobile phone or a SIM card that is not VoLTE compatible. This is already the case when you are travelling in the United States.” How to check your phone Freedom Mobile recommends dialing #TEST (#8378). If the call goes through, your phone is VoLTE-ready. If it doesn’t, you’ll need a newer phone and SIM card to stay connected. "
