Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" With Rogers shutting its 3G network on July 31 too, it’s likely that Freedom Mobile and Videotron’s 3G shutdown is related, since its wireless customers also roam on Rogers. “Starting July 31, 2025, one of our Canadian partners will begin shutting down their 3G network, beginning with the province of Quebec, as well as Ottawa, and it’s surrounding areas,” says Freedom Mobile. Recently, Rogers and Fido have already started cutting off working phones that were using its 3G networks, in what was deemed accidental. Rogers is also charging a $75 network fee if users continue to use 3G networks. "

Last few years had constant problems in renting films whereby it would play for 30 mins if I was incredibly lucky then freeze so stopped renting films.

Gerv (@Gervcomo) reported@LucDupont @Videotron Same today, i've noticed this a few times recently, never happened before, i'd say since last fall. One of the few reasons i keep cable. They better fix the problem or i'll subscribe online and cut this cable....finally !

James Somaeck (@somaeck) reportedTo end this thread, I'd ask @Videotron: 1) Is there a plan to implement #eSim? Don't simply say it's not available -- we know that! The question is whether there is a plan? 2) If "yes" to #1, what is the timeline to rollout? Saying it's a "non-issue" just doesn't cut it. 9/9

Avanos 🇨🇦⚜️ (@Avanosss) reported@PapiDitzyHarpy @GinoHard_ The language barrier is a pretty weak argument! In Quebec, we’re practically all bilingual and the Montreal Canadiens don’t seem to have any problem! Yes, the market is small, but at least the Videotron Centre would be full for every game!
