In a nutshell, Rogers wants to give Videotron access to its national broadband network at sweetheart rates so it can get its merger with Shaw through. This illegal side deal will kill competition, including TekSavvy, and allow the big guys to fix wholesale access rates.

Finally contacted Videotron. Got $5 off my monthly bill for $40 per month plus tax, and an extra 4 GB a month for a total of 10 GB per month with a 10 GB yearly overflow block. If I have to cancel a service to make ends meet, I can cancel TekSavvy and tether off of Videotron.

@cbcmarketplace @CBC @cbcgem I’ll also add the hat the Rogers merger with Shaw needs to be stopped. It’s great Shaw is going to sell its phone service to Videotron in QB as part of the “conditions” for Quebec and ONLY Quebec. It should not be allowed.
