Much like MTS + Sasktel did in MB / SK. Competition for the big 3. Videotron has service outside of QC, in Ottawa, same prices as QC. The big 3 and their flanker brands would not match prices of Videotron in Ottawa. We switched.

Despite 2-4 bars of signal strength and “LTE” displayed, no cellular data works. SMS and calls still work though. Same problem on multiple devices.

Were rogers and other cell companies are offering discounts/free Data until the 16th, while they have nothing to do with the outage or our videotron WIFI

Alex Clark (@alxclrk) reportedI'm on a train from Toronto to Montreal, and I can't believe we can't get reliable internet for the entire trip with VIA Rail. Onboard wifi dropping constantly and even Videotron's network has terrible coverage over the entire ride. Really wish they could use Starlink somehow.
