@Videotron is there still an outage in my Area? J9A ... The Helix light is white in front and the ethernet is orange but the wifi doesn't show up as an option for me to connect to at all. Doesn't even appear.

@David_Mulroney Rogers, Bell/Telus, Videotron and Sasktel, chose and signed contracts with Ericsson and Samsung, Freedom, we were down to Nokia or Ericsson, this decision could have been announced 2 years ago.

@Videotron Even before the storm support was suggesting a repair time of over a month. Now that the storm has happened I am certain any claims of service disruption will be blamed on the storm.

@jacobin 2/2 And 2) The paragraph introducing PKP to the mix seems misleading. To my understanding, it is not the cleaving off of Freedom and possible purchase by PKP that is the problem -- Videotron going national? -- but what would remain for Rogers to acquire.

@DrSamTheDentist @reideltj @Videotron But the issue is publicly known to have happened before the storm though! Ya sidebar, I'm pretty amazed for such a carrier, it still hasn't implemented support for eSIM yet!
