@lizaledwards You can move with your number to a different service provider. I moved with mine from Fido to Videotron without any problems.

It’s now done, the @Videotron landline account is closed. It’s going to be a lot of work to notify schools, work, doctors, offices, and God knows who else, but I could no longer trust this service.

@slimyswampghost man this sucks. Everyone in Canada had cool video stores and i had "Superclub Videotron" where you could buy cable boxes and rent movies and games. kinda wild how the TV people were ALSO in the market of giving alternatives to TV though.

@Bryson_M The problem is that promises were made to the 2007 class of new entrants (of which only Videotron and Eastlink remain ( Wind was sold so not sure original promises still binding). Govt agreed to shield them from new competition.

Never take @Videotron, it's the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Now that I have had my experience with Videotron after having had @Bell, I can advise you to go to Bell.
