@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet My dad is also on Xplornet, how much better a service is Starlink?

@renewedrebecca Rural is so hard. We are so close to the edge, literally our neighbors can't get hooked on. Any wireless options have data caps and we tried Xplornet...Worst. Service. Ever! Pings of 700 ms. They don't have any low orbit so the signal has to travel 26K KM.

  • myles_kin Myles Standish Kin Folk (@myles_kin) reported

I can't wait for my #Starlink to arrive so I can finally drop @Xplornet !!!! Xplornet service is absolutely the worst, customer service is garbage and they actually sold us a plan that they can't even provide and they outright admitted it!! 50Meg my ***!! #goodbyexplornet

  • EamonCyr ɹʎƆ uoɯɐƎ (@EamonCyr) reported

@eaoliver Can't be as bad as Xplornet is right now I hope lol I'm supposed to get 20mb/s down and hardly even crack 10mb/s most of the time, plus a beautiful 1mb/s up lol

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

Number of times Nest has emailed me to say "your camera is offline" today: four. Thanks @Xplornet. Your service is the best at being terrible.

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

A day in the life of an @Xplornet customer, "waiting forever for simple tasks" edition. Me: Hey Google Assistant: <20 second pause> Hmm, something went wrong. Try again in a few seconds.

  • Ougrew12 Phil 🇨🇦🌱🚜 (@Ougrew12) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet an ISP I used to work for charged $78/mth before taxes for a 1.5mbps wireless point to point service .. unlimited usage of course. Glad to see this coming out, clean up some competition.

  • EamonCyr ɹʎƆ uoɯɐƎ (@EamonCyr) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet I noticed the service get *real* shitty when they got bought out late last year by an American company.
