@Shawhelp I think Shawdy service is a sad reality with Shaw. It’s pretty bad @Xplornet has better service in the middle of no where than Shaw

@middle_over @strathconian We have tried xplornet, mcsnet, Telus, bell, Syban, and others that are no longer around. Part of the issue is they over sell the tower taking on more clients than the tower can service. Resulting in crap service for everyone. Crap service that they are charging $150/month for.

We just gave up on @Xplornet because it was just such poor unreliable internet coverage (& expensive) but wow closing account is even worse - a rip off! #poorservice #comsumerreports #alert

@StarBuck_83 @Xplornet i mounted a cell booster antenna on the mast that was still on the roof from the previous owner... That said, zero signal from Telus would have still been better than Xplornet. ;-)

A good dial up connection, WTF is that Xplornet? You are too focused on growth and acquisition that you forget your customers in your wake. We are a business customer, and you have royally prevented any of us in the office from using you for our personal internet at home.....

@nateglubish Certainly in ON, Xplornet is the worst ISP available, and unfortunately, the ONLY ISP available to many rural residents. Gov't needs to stop sending any money to this company until they start providing the service people are paying for but not receiving.

@StarBuck_83 @Xplornet Absolutely life changing. About the only thing that doesn't work reliably is Google Stadia (or other game streaming services). My work VPN even stays connected most of the day if I need it. I also haven't heard my 15 year old complain once about the internet since, so .......

@strathconian Forgive my ignorance on the issue, but why can people in rural areas not subscribe to one of the satellite internet services, such as xplornet?
