@Xplornet Your loyalty department will not answer the phone to allow me to cancel my service. How can Sales pick up immediately, but you will not provide any methods to cancel?!?!

  • michaudlarry Larry Michaud (@michaudlarry) reported

@Xplornet instead of taking pictures of coyotes, why don't you you get our internet going? Out in south of Spruce Grove AB. we've been out of service since Sunday morning!! This is ridiculous for this day and age.

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

@alexposadzki @globeandmail Don't buy into it. Xplornet is, and has long been, an absolutely, horribly good awful company, and terribly unreliable connectivity provider. Gotta be hands down the worst provider in Canada. They survive only by buying out competition to hold a monopoly...

  • michaudlarry Larry Michaud (@michaudlarry) reported

@Xplornet Why didn't you notify your customers of the issues? Keep us posted? Why did it take so long to repair?

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

Finally free from @Xplornet, and with wonderful timing, another option finally came to my area. A new provider, CCI Wireless, began installing towers around Alberta and provided a far, far better service. They even seemed to actually care about customer support.

  • HoneycutRa Robb (@HoneycutRa) reported

@chalackd @Xplornet Don't get me started on cell service around my area!😬😬

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

While the first efforts at rural 'broadband' were being rolled out, the vast majority of rural people were nowhere near the service areas. Until one day that changed, along came @Xplornet, with a game changing satellite based service for remote customers.

  • anne_corri Corri-Anne Chiles (@anne_corri) reported

@XplornetES @Xplornet I definitely don't feel better that you exist! Get my damn internet working. Stop playing with the coyotes and get your **** together. Day 2 of no internet!

  • TanyaMMDash Tanya Dash (@TanyaMMDash) reported

@Xplornet Just checked, it's back up now . It was 3 days of no service! And no one when I called knew or give any eta of when was going be restored.

  • chalackd Dano (@chalackd) reported

Things were finally looking up for us rural internet customers, service was still not perfect and speeds still lacked compared to town, but we were finally free from the exploitative @Xplornet monopoly. Or so it seemed, again...
