Another useful tidbit: @Xplornet has confirmed my signal quality is high enough to get the package speed of 25/2. (Or is it 1.5? or 2.5?) The fact I've never reliably had that speed means that since signing up for service they've been "managing" the traffic to account for load..

  • kevdevlyn Kevin Porter (@kevdevlyn) reported

@Xplornet Haven’t you taken enough of our money for your ****** fixed wireless service over the years. now the government is giving you more. What a waste.

  • evanrbuchanan Evan Buchanan (@evanrbuchanan) reported

Having extra slow and sporadic internet and cell receptiom for a year now really shows me how much we rely on access to communication. Also **** xplornet and virgin for being bad providers... Grrr

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Xplornet @APLenehan I refuse to accept your excuses for your miserably performing network in my area. Don't sell "up to" 25 when you can't reliably even supply 5mbps and then hide behind a policy that was part of the agreement.

  • lewisbron Lewis (@lewisbron) reported

@Xplornet this is to whoever runs the twitter account at xplornet. I feel so bad for you that you have gone so low in life that you have to work for this sad ******* company. I know you see this.

  • TKC_1233 Jonathan Fortuna (@TKC_1233) reported

@Xplornet 3rd time in 5 days my net has gone down. There should be a law that says you have to take at least $1 off a bill for every hour your service is down. #xplornetsucks

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

To put it in perspective @Xplornet: Even if my connection was "up" 50% of the time and I still consumed 800GB of data, that's an average speed of 5mbps over the month. I don't dispute that the connection works some of the time. But it doesn't work reliably, that's the issue.

@m3t4lw01f @Xplornet Wow, they just want you gone as a customer dont they? How can it be working if you can’t even connect on a regular basis to their service. Are they actively shutting you down?

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@harrbca @Xplornet No they're just passively shutting me down🤪 Honestly, she just kept repeating that my signal quality is enough for the "up to" speed, my "very high" usage, and they make no guarantees you'll get the speeds. Maybe I should make no guarantees there will be money to pay the bill?

  • harrbca Brad Harrison (@harrbca) reported

@Mark_Goldberg @multiplesourc13 @Xplornet I have been wondering lately if the wireless providers are wanting to get out of the rural internet service provider business because of our low density and higher cost to service. I live 30km from a major city center, and our wireless options are limited, and of poor quality.
