Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Miscouche and nearby locations:

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Richmond, Prince Edward Island

@kbcmc @Xplornet Well if ya had some decent internet to feed into your router, the problem might be solved.

  • VO1MX Dan (@VO1MX) reported from Bedeque, Prince Edward Island

@DerekMacEwen I'd like to see the math, numbers where @Xplornet prove that they are providing the speed as promised to the households that signed up for their service.

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Richmond, Prince Edward Island

@mudlanegoldens @kbcmc @DerekMacEwen @Xplornet @XplornetSupport @APLenehan @Bell_Aliant and @Xplornet are the two worst possible options we could pick. Too bad @PEIGuardian didn't do a story on how dissatisfied we are at having only these to pick from.

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Richmond, Prince Edward Island

@m3t4lw01f Maybe they are fleeing the areas that @Xplornet provides internet service.

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Richmond, Prince Edward Island

@DerekMacEwen @kbcmc @Bell_Aliant @Xplornet @WickedEH @redsandspei @Eastlink The logic being they could rent pole space to run fiber lines. After two years with no visible action, I asked @Bell_Aliant if they had plans to extend service to my area. I was told by a @Bell_Aliant manager that Lot 16 area wasn't worth their time to offer Fibre in Belmont.

  • LotSixteen Robert Gamble (@LotSixteen) reported from Richmond, Prince Edward Island

Our new power line poles are at 60 meter spacings - perfect for stringing cable. @Bell_Aliant has abandoned us to @Xplornet, and @Xplornet has yet to show any initiative in extending service. We are starved for decent broadband and would switch in a heartbeat.

@nsgov We have trouble getting cell services... I need to go with Xplornet for internet... and it is not very great

  • No0neParticular The Dave 🇨🇦 (@No0neParticular) reported

.@Xplornet your techs are trying to tell me that this flat line cap on my downloads at 9mbps since Sept 7th @ 4am is due to signal issues. I pay for 25mbps. This is not signal issues. That would fluctuate similar to before Sept 7. This is a traffic management policy gone bad.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@mwest_ What do u mean there isn't 2 sides? I've met people w/ Xplornet, SSi, Iristel. Sure they are small, maybe not the best compared to fibre. But that's the thing, all these ppl want choice they don't want NWTel & are w. other players for a reason. Perhaps service differentiation?

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@JeddorePhil @FrankReardon1 @Xplornet The download speed (5meg) is the min considered high speed. 1. The upload is bad. The minimum is 1-meg, you have 1/2-meg. For deaf people using visual 911 & other things, this doesn't pass. 3 & 4. Latency/Jitter is high, chances are u have dropped packets, normal with satellite.

  • Fred_Wreck1983 Fred Cee (@Fred_Wreck1983) reported

@Xplornet fix ur service instead of taking photos ffs

  • m3t4lw01f m3t4lw01f (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Xplornet I'm all out of witty things to say about your service right now, so I'll just say this: you guys are truly the worst ISP in Canada. @APLenehan should be proud of that distinction, it's not easy to be this hated and still be oblivious to it.

  • m3t4lw01f m3t4lw01f (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@Xplornet I assume the French words that should have gone along with this photo got stuck somewhere in your network and only the photo managed to escape.

  • Brian_Moon95 Brian Moon (@Brian_Moon95) reported

A rural Nova Scotia family with two young kids would love to beta test @SpaceXStarlink Tower based internet not an option, cell coverage weak and Xplornet slow at best. 👋

  • SpritePd Pd_Lietz (@SpritePd) reported

@Xplornet Why not try working. In Manitoba you told me too bad that my location fr sat is either Alberta or Ont. what bullshit. I need NEED location on server to be correct to get COVID/government /weather / or school and Health news. Explain.

  • kapwamom Kapwa Mom (@kapwamom) reported

The @xplornet tech suggested we change our internet package to a lower level since we can’t achieve the speeds at our current package. THAT’s the solution?
