@CBCNB I looked at Xplornet two years ago for cottage - it was $120 for 100GB of data - which is about about 10 Netflix movies a month. Thereafter there are overage charges and they wind down your speed to 2.5mbps (your better off hotspotting from your phone).

@IanMcPHE7T2 @mynamesnotgordy @Xplornet I live on PEI in the country. Ours works good no complaints. Only had to call them 2x in 5 years. Both times the service was great and it was fix next day. Not every one here gets good internet from them depends on where they live. Bell service here is atrocious.

@CBCNB GNB: we can shovel money out to our friends at Xplornet and get a few people some outdated technology. Or we could solve the problem with the best satellite tech. Shovelling money to our friends is the obvious solution! It isn’t just the feds pouring money into ****** Xplornet.

@RogersHelps @MburuNju123 @xplornet Rogers is crediting back lost services so I would expect same of my lost day of service from xplornet as well.
