@AnnDeer4 @Xplornet I have and they quickly gave me a $15/month credit for 6 months. But I almost don’t care - it’s the speed and dependability I need, not a relatively menial and temporary savings in service. I think that’s also telling how they gave the discount so effortlessly.

@APLenehan our local tower has had “known issues” for four years now. Our internet doesn’t work at all now. According to xplornet, there are no plans to fix the tower. This is the worst service I have ever seen. 10 kB/s now. This is shameful.

So, I ask an honest question of @Xplornet - what are you doing to address your overburdened LTE service? Forget the corporate speak, subterfuge, key messaging & the oh so dreaded, “Please contact our customer support.”Instead, provide a true answer so we can decide to stay or go.

The tragic thing is we get used to @Xplornet’s shitty service, we sit there, and we take it. We become complacent, and we say: “Well, tonight it only took 1 min to buffer a movie.” “I think those pixels are faces.” “It only paused or froze 10 times over 2 hours.” 13/

@AndyBlizzard87 I hear ya. I was with WTC for years near Sunbury but after our last move they didn’t have coverage in our current rural area. We were forced to choose @Xplornet, who have been hit and miss, but over the last 1-2 years they’ve been brutal because they flooded their LTE service.

I feel like @Xplornet and similar rural internet companies are the modern equivalent of Blockbuster, and guys like @elonmusk with @SpaceX’s Starlink are Netflix. The former simply can’t see the train coming down the tracks. Stop ignoring your customers’ needs! 7/

If I was the ceo of Xplornet I would live in fear everyday hoping my buyers don’t burn down my house. If I worked for bell or Rogers or even Shaw I would be ashamed to be in the same category as Xplornet and Xplornet shouldn’t even be in the same category

@Xplornet your network still sucks. It's been days of barely working Internet. On top of months of not providing close to the service you're advertising. @APLenehan do you care? Or is all you care about the revenue? You know we don't have other options. Your monopoly must die.

@Xplornet your internet is so **** I have to put in my schedule three days ahead of time to check my email so I can give Xplornet a enough time to ******* load it. If I wanted to download a new game that just came out the earliest I would be able to play would be 30 days later

@m3t4lw01f @Xplornet Tempted to write a lil bot script to run an iperf every half hour and submit an excel sheet with network info + Speedtest results to xplornet at end of month. Would be interesting to see what CRTC/CCTS would say as well.

@Xplornet your internet not working by yorkton sk. University students need to write online exams and hand in papers. Get your crap together. Phone call to helpline cut off too! Unacceptable!

@Xplornet Not pictured here, anything about actual xplornet service. I think their marketing team is a chicken pecking at a keyboard.

How is it that Google Assistant is completely non-functional, Twitter is completely dead, yet I can watch a show on Netflix no problem and YouTube will let me stream a video at 7mbps? Then I do a speed test and my connection tests <1mbps. This makes no sense @Xplornet.

When you call @Xplornet support an hour ago and the estimate says 22 minutes, you realize all aspects of their business are really slow, not just the Internet service itself. I wonder if @APLenehan uses his own services or if he uses a legitimate ISP.
